NRL Round 19 Team: Lists & Updates

The rugby teams are locked in for Round 19 of the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership, and plenty of big names are set to back up after Origin III.

Round 19 Fixtures and Key Match-Ups

It’s shaping up to be a huge weekend of footy with some big-name players returning after Origin III. From key injuries to last-minute reshuffles, here’s how each team lines up for Round 19.

Sharks v Dolphins – Friday, 8 pm at Sharks Stadium

The Sharks make just one change from their Round 17 loss to the Storm, with Daniel Atkinson replacing Billy Burns on the bench. Sean O’Sullivan returns at five-eighth for the Dolphins, replacing Kodi Nikorima (hamstring). Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and other Origin stars are named as backups.

Knights v Storm – Saturday, 3 pm at McDonald Jones Stadium

Kalyn Ponga remains sidelined for the Knights, with Fletcher Hunt named at fullback. Leo Thompson’s return from suspension pushes Tyson Frizell to lock. For the Storm, Ryan Papenhuyzen is back at fullback after calf tightness, while several Origin stars, including Cameron Munster and Harry Grant, have been named in the reserves.

Dragons v Roosters – Saturday, 5:30 pm at Jubilee Stadium

Valentine Holmes has been named as a backup for the Dragons in Origin. Luciano Leilua and Hamish Stewart also return. The Roosters receive a big boost with Sam Walker (thumb) finally back alongside returning Origin reps Lindsay Collins, Angus Crichton, and Spencer Leniu.

Cowboys v Bulldogs – Saturday, 7:35 pm at Queensland Country Bank Stadium

The Cowboys’ Origin contingent — including Reuben Cotter and Tom Dearden — are all named to play. Karl Lawton returns from suspension. Skipper Stephen Crichton returns from Origin for the Bulldogs, shifting Matt Burton back to five-eighth. Max King and Kurt Mann will also back up.

Warriors v Wests Tigers – Sunday, 4 pm NZT at Go Media Stadium.

Taine Tuaupiki steps in at fullback for the Warriors, with Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad out. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak returns on the wing, and Kurt Capewell is in the reserves after Origin. The Tigers welcome Jarome Luai and Api Koroisau back, while Jack Bird returns to the bench.

Eels v Panthers – Sunday, 4:05 pm at CommBank Stadium

Former Tiger Tallyn Da Silva debuts for the Eels from the bench. The Panthers have listed five Origin stars, including Nathan Cleary and Brian To’o, in the reserves — final calls will come closer to kick-off.

Titans v Broncos – Sunday, 6:15 pm at Cbus Super Stadium

There are big inclusions for the Titans, with Jayden Campbell and David Fifita returning. Maroons stars Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and Moe Fotuaika are named to back up. For the Broncos, Reece Walsh, Pat Carrigan, and Payne Haas are all set to play, with veteran Ben Hunt back at hooker after a six-week layoff.
